Your Opportunity
 
We are seeking experienced Electrical Design Engineers to work on major infrastructure projects across the east coast, and especially in Sydney on the Park Life Project.   

As an experienced Electrical Engineer at RSGx, you will contribute to one or multi-projects by overseeing design phases, resolving design challenges, and delivering innovative solutions to complex issues. Your role includes refining design documentation and ensuring strict adherence to industry standards and regulations. You may work across low and high voltage distribution, switchboards, substations, buildings, lighting and power systems, communications, and essential distribution networks, collaborating with multiple teams to drive project success.

Other responsibilities can include:

• Developing, reviewing, and updating design documentation to reflect accurate and up-to-date information.
• Develop shop drawing level documentation to reflect accurate and up-to-date information.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, engineers, and construction teams, to ensure project success.
• Conduct site inspections and assessments to ensure design integrity and compliance as required per project. 
• Provide technical support and guidance to team members and stakeholders.

We are open to applications across the East Coast. For Park Life opportunities you must be Sydney based.

About You

An experienced Electrical Design Engineer with a strong background in infrastructure projects, including rail, roads, highways, buildings, and commercial developments for Tier 1 or Tier 2 operators. You bring strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interface effectively with multiple teams. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. 

• Bachelor degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering
• Proficiency in design software such as, Revit, AutoCAD, or PowerCAD .
• Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to rail and transport projects.
• Experience or sound knowledge of AS3000.
• Both design and delivery experience will be highly advantageous within tier 1 / Tier 2 environment.
