With multiple projects currently in progress across Western Australia and a strong pipeline of works into 2024 Allied Power are looking for a HV Powerline Supervisor – Construction to join and grow with our team.
Key Experience
- Minimum 10yrs in Distribution Line construction (mining experience preferred) as a supervisor.
- Install and maintain power lines and associated equipment in accordance with safety regulations and project specifications.
- Demonstrated experience in a Supervisor role on construction projects.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Ability to forecast work scope, plant & equipment requirements, and materials.
- Demonstrated experience in understanding schedules and reporting against
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Ability to work in demanding, deadline-driven working environments with capacity to overcome problems and delays.
- Sound knowledge using MS Excel.
The Role
- Lead and motivate a team of a skilled multi-discipline crew to perform their best during projects.
- Champion the Allied Power team culture through leadership and involvement.
- Represent Allied Power to our clients on site, demonstrating our values and commitment to delivering projects safely and successfully.
- Analyse, communicate and resolve issues that may arise.
- Ensure all tasks are carried out to meet industry regulations and Allied Power’s quality guidelines.
- Accurately report against project schedule, produce daily progress reports, and communicate delays.
- Conduct Daily Prestart with overriding focus on safety and team engagement.
- Use your skills and experience to interpret and disseminate project design to your team.
- Manage & maintain project assets on site.
- Forecast material requirements and co-ordinate with suppliers to ensure project is resourced appropriately.
Required Qualifications:
- Trade Qualified Linesman (preferred)
- Minimum 10yrs experience in a supervisor role.
- Working at Heights
- High Risk Work License – WP
- Driver’s License
