The Position
 
We’re looking for an experienced client facing Project Manager with a strong background in the mining, renewables or civil infrastructure industry.
By joining our team, you’ll work on major projects in regional Western Australia, including scopes such as transmission, distribution, switchyards, switchrooms, solar farms, and large-scale battery energy storage initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

As the Project Manager you will be interfacing and managing clients, projects, subcontractors, overseeing day-to-day site activities, daily operations, quality, and safety of designated projects, including:

• Overseeing project implementation, ensuring milestones are achieved on schedule.
• Understanding processes of on-boarding, HSE documentation etc.
• Managing contracts, commercials, budgets, monthly reporting, progress claims, and variations.
• Acting as the primary client liaison, addressing needs and resolving issues effectively.
• Planning, scheduling, and allocating resources for seamless project execution.
• Leading and motivating project teams to achieve goals and deliverables.
• Ensuring compliance with contracts, industry standards, and safety regulations.
• Overseeing the installation and construction of underground and above ground electrical, and civil infrastructure

About You

• A seasoned Project Manager with a solid foundation in the mining, renewables or civil infrastructure sector, you offer proven expertise or a strong understanding of electrical and SMP disciplines.
• You hold an Electrical certificate, a Diploma, or Bachelor in Electrical, Civil or Mechanical engineering, Project Management or equivalent.
• Qualifications substituted with 5 years site construction or project management experience
• Strong client management and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Excellent planning, resource allocation, and team leadership abilities.
• A skilled communicator and problem solver, experienced in managing stakeholders, clients, meeting deadlines, and driving results in high-pressure environments, while upholding safety and industry standards.
