RSGx are delighted to celebrate with our client Fortescue, the delivery of three substations in three years. We were delighted to welcome the Fortescue team to the historic WA Rowing club to celebrate the milestone. The three substations at Kanyirri, Flying Fish and Eliwana, all part of the Pilbara Transmission Project Stage 4, were delivered safely, on time and within budget.
The event was introduced by EGM for RSGx for the West, Michael O’Connell. He then passed to Baldja and RSGx JV partner Frank Mitchell, who discussed his journey both in life and in the electrical industry. We then heard from Fortescue Project Manager, Cory Denis who discussed how Fortescue values the RSGx partnership. We then heard from Fremantle legend Matthew Pavlich on the parallels between sport, high performance and the construction industry. The event was then closed by RSGx Director David O’Riordan, who thanked both the Fortescue and RSGx teams for the achievement of the milestone and for marking that milestone by participating in the event.
RSGx values our partnerships and are delighted to have secured two further contracts to deliver the Christmas Creek West and Cloudbreak West Greenfields 33/220kV GIS substations for Fortescue, as part of the Pilbara Transmission Project Stage 2. To read more about it, visit here.
