The Role:
We are seeking a skilled Commissioning Controls Engineer to join our team and play a pivotal role in the commissioning phase of a major infrastructure project.
As part of this dynamic and fast-paced environment, you will have the opportunity to utilise your expertise in energy generation, while contributing to the growth and success of a groundbreaking projects.
The Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and execute commissioning documentation in accordance with project requirements and standards.
- Conduct pre-commissioning, operational, and test activities on-site, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
- Optimise control systems and assist with tuning control loops to ensure efficient operation of equipment.
- Coordinate with stakeholders, including clients, inter-company staff, and subcontractors, to maintain effective communication and relationships.
- Provide training to client staff during the commissioning process and ensure competence in plant operation and safety procedures.
- Complete punch lists and AS Built documentation to ensure accurate project records.
The Right Candidate:
- Background in energy generation.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to foster effective relationships and collaborate across teams.
- Solution-focused mindset, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.
- Engineering Certificate/Degree.
- Minimum 5 years of commissioning experience.
- Proficiency in report writing, basic computer skills, and familiarity with commissioning permit systems and isolation procedures.
