Resource Services Group (RSGx) is a leading provider of integrated Mechanical, Electrical, and Instrumentation (ME&I) solutions, delivering major projects across Oil & Gas, mining, and infrastructure in Australia and overseas.
RSGx is supporting our client to deliver a major urea manufacturing project in Western Australia. Once complete, the facility will be the largest in Australia and among the largest globally, incorporating industry-leading, more sustainable production processes. The project is expected to generate around 2,000 jobs during construction and deliver lasting benefits to the local community through careers, training, and business opportunities.
Your role will include:
- Installation and removal of temporary and permanent electrical equipment as instructed
- Cable installation using mechanical aid – Both above and underground
- Underground Earthing installations, cad welds & associated testing requirements
- Installation and Fabrication of Steel Conduit, Instrument Tray, Cable Ladder and their required supports
- Termination and Glanding of SWA cables and equipment in a Hazardous Area
- Installation of all site-wide Electrical, Instrumentation and Telecommunication equipment
- Installation of Electrical Apparatus in areas such as but not limited to, Substations, Instrument Rooms, Local Equipment Rooms and vendor package equipment
- Following work packs, procedures, and site instructions to execute tasks safely and accurately
- Completing Inspection & Test Records (ITRs) and closing out Punch List Items (PLI’s)
What you will bring to the team:
- WA Electrical Licence
- Cert III in Instrumentation and Control &/OR Cert IV in Instrumentation and Control
- Demonstrated experience on large-scale Industrial Construction Projects (Oil & Gas – preferred)
- Current CPR / LVR certification
- Cert IV in Hazardous Areas (highly regarded)
- HRWL – EWP
- Work Safely at Heights
