We are seeking a skilled HSE Advisor with strong construction project experience to join our team within the E2X Joint Venture, supporting the SSTOM Project. In this site‑based role, you will provide hands‑on HSE guidance to our project teams and help drive a proactive safety culture across all work fronts.
As part of a dynamic and fast‑paced major project environment, you will have the opportunity to apply your HSE expertise while contributing to the successful delivery of a significant infrastructure program. Key Responsibilities, but not limited to:
- Prepare and execute HSE documentation in accordance with project requirements and standards.
- Develop and own Contractor Safety Management Systems
- Optimise HSE systems and assist Construction Team with safety related Activities and Responsibilities.
- Coordinate with stakeholders, including clients, inter-company staff, and subcontractors, to maintain effective communication and relationships.
- Provide training to client staff during the construction process and ensure competence in safety procedures.
This role is based in Southwest Sydney in Luddenham or across our nearby sites. A driver’s licence is required.
About you
- HSE Advisor bringing experience in construction / infrastructure project environments.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to foster effective relationships and collaborate across teams.
- Solution-focused mindset
- Health & Safety Certificate/Degree
- Proficiency in report writing, basic computer skills, and familiarity with commissioning permit systems and isolation procedures.
- Cert IV in Training and Assessment – desirable
