About the Role
We are seeking a Protection Engineer who would be flexible to work on site as well as in the office.
This is a flexible role with an equal split of Perth based/Hybrid and Onsite work. The role will require ad hoc travel to a variety of sites/clients for testing High Voltage assets and commissioning activities.

Key Responsibilities
When on site:
- Work safely and in accordance with procedures, policies and permits.
- Execute Primary testing on HV Assets.
- Perform Secondary testing on protection relays, control & communication systems.
- Complete FAT and SAT testing.
- Liaise with clients and provide technical advice and recommendations.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve faults in HV systems.
When in Perth:
- Develop testing and commissioning plans.
- Develop technical reports and other client deliverables.
- QA/QC management.
- Assist in estimating.
- Support major projects with engineering and commissioning activities.
About You
- Electrical Engineering Degree.
- Experienced in testing and commissioning of Distribution and Transmission voltage levels.
- Competent in the suite of Omicron, Doble and Megger Test Equipment.
- Good communicator who is confident to be client-facing and able to work independently.
- Trade qualification advantageous.
