At Itech Corporation, we specialise in delivering efficient, client-focused electrical and engineering solutions across a range of industries. As our Sydney project workload continues to grow, we’re looking for a skilled Electrical Trades Assistant to join us on a 6-month casual contract.

About the Role
This hands-on role will see you supporting licensed electricians on-site across a variety of commercial and industrial builds. You’ll assist with the delivery of electrical works that are safe, accurate, and on schedule. Working closely with engineers, supervisors, and tradespeople, you’ll help ensure smooth project execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with electrical installations in accordance with drawings, standards, and safety procedures
• Participate in toolbox talks and contribute to SWMS
• Support site setup and help resolve design queries or incomplete documentation
• Maintain a tidy and safe work area
• Help manage materials and tools, and coordinate with the admin team on deliveries
• Accurately complete timesheets and assist with site records

Key Objectives

• Support the Electrical Supervisor and electricians with task planning and site coordination
• Maintain a high standard of workmanship and safety
• Assist with project documentation including WHS site files, cable schedules, and lookahead programs

What You’ll Need

• Construction White Card
• Previous experience supporting electrical or construction teams
• Basic understanding of WHS and ability to follow SWMS
• Ability to follow instructions, work independently, and in a team
• High attention to detail and a proactive, reliable attitude
