About the Role

RSGx is seeking a dynamic and experienced Operations Manager – Powerlines to support the successful delivery of multiple transmission and distribution projects across Western Australia. Based in Perth and reporting to the Executive General Manager, the purpose of this role is to ensure all projects under your portfolio are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key responsibilities will include:

• Act as mentor and strategic leader to multiple project managers, providing the support and guidance needed to navigate complex project challenges
• Support and enforce robust project governance, ensuring key deliverables such as design, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities are in accordance with project objectives.
• Conduct regular project reviews to assess status, identify critical path issues, and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure seamless project launch, including evaluation of project resources and workforce, and sharing of resources between projects.
• Serve as a point of contact with clients, regulatory bodies, and key stakeholders.
• Champion a zero-incident safety culture across all projects, ensuring strict adherence to company safety policies and industry regulations.

About You

We’re looking for a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the delivery of powerline infrastructure. Essential criteria includes:

• Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Construction, or relevant tertiary/trade qualifications
• Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in project and operations management within the T&D sector
• Proven track record of successful delivery of T&D projects
• Deep understanding of T&D construction methods, materials, standards, and regulatory environments
