We are seeking a Project Manager with overhead powerlines background to deliver transformational projects driving Australia’s renewable energy sector.

You will lead and oversee efficient construction and delivery of high-voltage powerlines’ projects, ensuring alignment with RSGx’s commitment to safety, environmental compliance, and operational excellence.  

This is a FIFO position from major Australian cities to regional WA on 2:1 roster.

In this role you will:

• Plan, execute and finalise projects for delivery to our clients.
• Manage project teams to accurately and timely deliver projects according to schedule, budget and scope.
• Oversee quality control throughout the project life cycle and ensure compliance on projects’ objectives and deliverables.
• Focus on acquiring resources and coordinating efforts of team members.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to deliver innovative, high-quality infrastructure solutions that meet policy, procedural, and legislative requirements. 
• Ensure that our clients’ needs are delivered in a safe, timely and efficient manner whilst ensuring a safe and effective operation of the project through sound communication, promotion of Safety and Quality Assurance, technical assistance and sound business practices such as commercial, compliance, procurement, human resources and financials.

 

• A minimum of 8 years’ experience in the delivery of large remote overhead powerlines projects and/or relevant tertiary qualifications.
• Extensive knowledge of overhead powerlines’ construction methodologies, safety protocols, and industry standards
• Ability to read and understand technical Electrical drawings and translate to project requirements
• Experienced with stringing, helicopter stringing and pole erection. 
• Background in construction, risk, OHS, quality, and environmental management.
• Good communication skills with the ability to engage with key stakeholders up and downstream.
