Key Details

• Integrated commissioning team role supporting shutdown, commissioning and start-up
• Mobilisation imminent, with project completion anticipated Dec 2026
• 2/1 roster, 12 hour days
• Day and night shift operations) night shift +30 uplift)
• Flights provided from nearest Australian capital city to Pilbara

  Role Overview

• Administer and enforce the Principal’s Permit to Work (PTW) system throughout commissioning activities.
• Coordinate daily permit and SIMOPS planning with construction, commissioning, operations, and OEM teams.
• Maintain live permit boards, including active permits, isolations, hazardous area access, and work boundaries.
• Manage isolations and lock-out/tag-out processes, ensuring accuracy, traceability, and correct use of group and personal locks.
• Verify return-to-service activities, including testing, barrier reinstatement, and permit close-out.
• Validate hazardous area access, ignition source control, and compliance with IECEx/ATEX requirements.
• Oversee hydrogen system readiness, including purging, gas detection, alarm setpoints, and ESD functionality.
• Ensure gas detection equipment is correctly used, calibrated, and documented.
• Confirm completion of Job Hazard Analyses and communicate permit conditions and safety requirements to work parties.
• Verify personnel competency, training, and certification for all PTW-related activities.
