We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Warehouse Storeperson to join our thriving electrical supply warehouse. This is a hands-on role where your expertise in forklift operations, order processing, and warehouse management will be essential to our success.
 
Your New Role:
 
Based in our warehouse facility, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks crucial to our supply chain. Your day-to-day duties will involve:
 

• Forklift Operations: Safely and efficiently operate a high reach forklift to manage stock and assist with movements throughout the warehouse.
• Order Fulfilment: Accurately process both inbound and outbound orders, ensuring timely dispatch and receipt of goods.
• Pick and Pack: Meticulously pick and pack orders, which will include handling a range of materials from electrical and mechanical.
• Inventory Management: Participate in regular cycle counting and stocktakes to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Loading and Unloading: Safely manage the loading and unloading of containers and trucks.
• General Warehouse Duties: Contribute to the overall cleanliness, organization, and safety of the warehouse environment.

What You’ll Bring to the Team:
 
To be successful in this role, you will need a combination of practical skills, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to safety.
 
Essential:

• A current and valid Forklift Licence (LF) with demonstrated experience operating a high reach forklift.
• A minimum of two years of proven experience in a similar warehouse role.
• Proficiency in basic computer skills for data entry and updating order information in our systems.
• A general understanding of electrical elements such as cables, insulators, and ladders is highly advantageous.
• A thorough understanding of and adherence to workplace health and safety policies and procedures.
