Are you ready to make an impact? As a Trainer and Assessor, you’ll be at the forefront of workforce development, ensuring teams stay competent, compliant, and confident in their roles. From designing and delivering training modules to assessing mobile plant operations and project inductions, you’ll play a vital role in driving industry excellence.
With regular interstate travel to RSGx offices and project sites, this role offers dynamic challenges and exciting opportunities to collaborate across onboarding, mobilisation, and HSEQ teams. Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update the training matrix for all projects and ensure training records are accurate and up to date.
- Review and update training procedures regularly and ensure all training materials comply with industry standards and regulations.
- Conduct training needs analysis for different projects.
- Develop training programs for projects and identify skill gaps and develop appropriate training programs to employees for career progression.
- Assess and verify the competency of operators for mobile plant equipment.
- Coordinate and conduct project-specific inductions and ensure compliance with relevant safety and operational standards.
- Maintain detailed records of all training activities and assessments.
- Generate reports on training outcomes, compliance, and future training needs.
- Form training modules relevant to the needs of the business
- Work closely with the mobilisations team to ensure seamless integration of new employees.
This role can be based out of Sydney, Melbourne, or even Brisbane.
About You
You have valuable experience in training and assessment within the construction industry, with expertise in infrastructure, mining, oil, and gas sectors being highly desirable.
- Possess a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) or equivalent.
- Hold relevant qualifications in Construction or a related field.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of training and assessment principles.
- Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Skilled in developing and delivering effective training programs.
- Capable of conducting training needs analysis and updating training matrices.
- Knowledgeable in mobile plant operations and project induction processes.
