RSGx would like to offer thanks to everyone that participated in our Biggest Morning Tea to raise money for The Cancer Council.
The RSGx office locations in Perth, Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne and Cooma all hosted the event, with both the company and our dedicated team members providing tasty treats in an effort to raise money for an important cause.
Last year, we raised a very respectable $707 as a team and decided that we would stretch the target to $2,500 for this year. With an incredible response, we went beyond our target and raised $4,177, which RSGx has agreed to match, bringing the total amount raised for the 2022 event to $8,354.
Cancer is unfortunately something that hits close to home for so many of us so it’s great to see everyone wants to be involved and provide as much support as possible. Together, we have helped The Cancer Council raise much-needed funds that go towards vital cancer research, support services, prevention programs, and advocacy.
Some of the services and prevention activities that need help with funding at The Cancer Council include melanoma checks, Sun Smart campaigns, and SunSmart school programs and campaigns to raise awareness and funds for the treatment of this disease. These services are then bolstered with research and development and support for those affected by cancer.
We know our modest donation will assist this brilliant organisation and RSGx is proud to have been a part of this ongoing fight to raise money for The Cancer Council.
