RSGx are excited to announce that we have been awarded the electrical installation scope at the Roma street station on the Cross River Rail TSD (Tunnel, Stations and Development package) for CPB BAM Ghella UGL Joint Venture (CBGU D&C JV).

Cross River Rail is a 10.2km rail line between Dutton Park and Bowen Hills, which includes a 5.9km twin tunnel under the Brisbane River and Brisbane CBD.

The project includes construction of four new high-capacity underground stations at Boggo Road, Woolloongabba, Albert Street, Roma Street and redevelopment of the existing Dutton Park Station.

RSGx’s package involves the provision of all project management, supervision, labour, materials, temporary materials, plant and equipment to complete the works.

The works at the Roma Street Services building are ongoing, and have progressed well.

RSGx’s supply, install and commissioning activities on scopes include:

  • Project management of scope delivery
  • Design and documentation of electrical services, including BIM coordination
  • LV power distribution, reticulation and accessories
  • Station, emergency and exit lighting including lighting control system
  • Structured cabling
  • Electronic Access and Control System
  • Maintenance of site temporary Electrical Services
  • Commissioning
