HV Commissioning – Rail Infrastructure
RSGx are excited to announce that we have been awarded with the AWP2 Enabling and Final High Voltage Works package with the Southern Program Alliance, on the rail line from Frankston to Glenhuntly. The Southern Program Alliance is a section of the $6 billion Level Crossings Removal Project, which involves the removal of 75 level crossings in Melbourne, Victoria.
The works, which commenced upon award, in September 2020, initially consisted of HV cable hauling, terminations and earthing and bonding scopes.
The package then progresses through to the commissioning phase, which is planned for early 2021.
RSGx country Manager, Kris Caplice said “This strategically located project marries our construction and HV commissioning capabilities within the rail industry.
We are extremely pleased to be involved in such a high-profile project, with a large amount of work still to be done.
We have a strong project manager liaising with our client on a daily basis and expect a great outcome for both our client and ourselves”.
