RSGx is excited to announce that we have been awarded the Electrical HV, LV and Rail Operation Systems work package for the Victoria Park feeder station and Park Road track sectioning cabin, an integral part of the Cross River Rail project. The contract includes the provision of all project management, supervision, materials, labour, temporary materials, plant and equipment to complete the works.

Cross River Rail is a 10.2km rail line between Dutton Park and Bowen Hills, which includes a 5.9km twin tunnel under the Brisbane River and Brisbane CBD. This package is a part of the RIS (Rail Integration and System Works). The works, which commenced upon award, in early 2023, will commence at the Victoria Park feeder station and finish with Completion of the Park Rd track sectioning cabin in early 2024.

RSGx scope, from installation through to energisation includes:

  • Project management.
  • High Voltage equipment and cabling installation on 110/25kV transformers.
  • Installation and Site Acceptance Testing of 11kV Kiosk Substation and associated cabling.
  • Low Voltage equipment and cabling installation for the 11kV/0.4kV system.
  • Supply and installation of yard services – CCTV, fence detection, and lighting.
  • Lightning protection and earthing.
